There is always something going on in our wine town. Especially during the main holiday season, numerous people from near and far visit us. In particular, the many day trippers drive directly into the city by car, so that the available parking spaces here are quickly occupied. The city of Zell (Moselle) is continuously working on its parking concept - for example, you can conveniently take your parking ticket with your smartphone and you will find two parking spaces with e-charging stations in the immediate vicinity of the old town. A real added value of our city is the good public transport connection - so you can get ahead quickly!

Parking overview of Zell (Mosel)

The city map of Zell (Mosel) provides an overview of all parking facilities in Zell, Kaimt, Merl and on the Barl. The green car park symbols show the paid parking options on the Moselle promenade in Zell, the blue symbols mark free parking spaces. The map is also available for download as a PDF file here.

Parking with your smartphone

Motorists in Zell can also buy their parking tickets easily and conveniently with their smartphones in the chargeable parking spaces on the Moselle promenade. Parkster is the cooperation partner for the app for digital parking.

All you need to buy a digital parking ticket is the free Parkster app on your smartphone. A clear advantage: on the one hand you save yourself the trip to the machine and on the other hand you can easily extend the parking time with your mobile phone.

Charging stations in Zell

Electromobility is also becoming increasingly important in our city. So that you can easily and conveniently charge your electric vehicle in Zell (Mosel), the town offers you two public charging points for your vehicle on the Moselle promenade, in the immediate vicinity of the market square.

These are two normal charging points where you can charge your electric car within a few hours. Other private and public charging options will follow, we will keep you informed.

Public transport in Zell (Mosel)

The town of Zell, as the center of the municipality of the same name, is well connected to the public transport network. The train station in Bullay is only a few minutes away, and it takes less than half an hour to get to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.

Several bus lines of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel (VRM) drive through Zell and its districts, such as the much-used line 711 between Zell (Mosel) and Cochem.

Train station shuttle to and from Bullay

During the high season from April to October, a shuttle bus runs between the environmental train station in Bullay and the town of Zell on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).

The bus drives from the Bullay train station to the car bridge in Zell, turns around there and drives back to Bullay. It stops at the usual bus stops along the route between Zell and Bullay.
