Our "Zeller Schwarze Katz" wine festival on the last weekend in June traditionally heralds the start of the season of many wine festivals in the Moselle valley. This year we celebrate the wine festival from June 26th to June 29th around the market square in the old town of Zell!

Our guests enjoy the unique atmosphere at the "Zeller Schwarze Katz" fountain and along the Mosel promenade. The Zell winegrowers spoil them with their first-class wines, and the program also includes culinary highlights, handmade live music and plenty of entertainment for young and old!

Wine, Delicacies and Music

The focus is on exquisite wines from Zell's winegrowers, culinary delicacies and live music with top bands. The organizers have also put together a varied entertainment program.

As always, it starts on Friday with the installing of the fairground tree and the crowning of our new wine queen. On Saturday, young and old alike can look forward to the children's activities or the exclusive wine tasting. Sunday begins with Holy Mass, followed by a "Frühschoppen" and a colorful program with artists and performers. On Monday, the people of Zell and their friends and guests, as well as some businesses, bring the wine festival to a close together.

A great musical program awaits the wine festival guests on all days and the funfair along the Moselle promenade is a highlight, especially for the little ones!

The “Zeller Schwarze Katz” Wine Festival is easily accessible by bus from all directions. At the same time, from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, through Tuesday, June 30, 2026, there will be changes to regular service on routes 711, 720, and 721, as well as to school bus service.
