On May 1, it's “Gieh roff of dat Häisje” again in Zell (Mosel). This popular hiking event once again promises wine, hiking and enjoyment amidst the vineyards above the town of Zell.
Hike on the Collis circular trail via Collis to the Lönshöhe or via the “Zeller Schwarze Katz” theme trail (Karpertchenweg) to the Rommeneyweg or directly up to Collis on the Collissteig.
At six gourmet stations, the “Häisje”, the hosts serve hearty Wingert food, hearty dishes from the grill and from the pan, refined delicacies from the fine cuisine as well as the exquisite wines of the “Zeller Schwarze Katz”. The “Häisje” are open from 11:00 am.
Enjoy the wonderful view of the Moselle valley and let your mind wander! Start and end your hike in the wine lounge on the market square at the “Zeller Schwarze Katz” fountain with a glass of sparkling wine or Riesling wine from the “Zeller Schwarze Katz”.
It is possible to purchase a glass at all stations or bring your own calibrated wine glass from home. Guests are requested to park in the designated parking spaces on the banks of the Moselle and not in the vineyard paths! Or use the good public transport bus connections.
The hiking event is organized by the Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Zell e.V., which wishes all guests happy hours while hiking and in the “Häisje”. On the following event poster you will find an overview of the stations:
